What this site is

This is an independent directory of UAE free zones, mainland company formation, offshore registries, and residency visa routes (Golden Visa and Green Visa). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of the UAE government, any free zone authority, or any Department of Economic Development. Where we refer users to a free zone, a formation partner, or a service provider, we may earn a commission — see our affiliate disclosure for the full detail.

How pages get written

Every page follows the same process, regardless of who or what drafted the first version:

1. Facts are sourced before they are written. Fees, thresholds, capital requirements, and visa quotas are collected from the relevant authority’s own published material, or from a direct enquiry to that authority, before any prose is drafted. A fact with no source does not appear on a published page.
2. Every fact carries a confidence level — verified (confirmed against a primary, authority-published source), reported (from a credible secondary source, not yet confirmed at the authority), or estimated (our own synthesis, always labelled as such with the basis for the estimate). 3. AI assistance is used in drafting, including for this pass of the site. Where it is used, every factual claim it produces is checked against the sourcing rule above before publication — an AI-drafted estimate is never presented as a confirmed figure, and never enters this site’s structured data (the machine-readable markup search engines read) unless it has been independently confirmed. A page does not go live because a draft was finished; it goes live because its facts have sources.
4. A named author and, for higher-stakes pages, a named reviewer are attached to every page. We do not publish financial or immigration-adjacent content under an anonymous “team” byline.
5. Nothing is accepted from a partner or free zone in exchange for favourable coverage. Ratings, rankings, and “best for” recommendations are not affected by whether a commercial relationship exists with the entity being described — see How We Verify and Methodology for how ratings are actually derived.

This page is itself dated and versioned the same way every other page on the site is. The updated date above reflects the last substantive change to this policy.
