Affiliate Disclosure

How this site is funded: which links are commercial, what that does and doesn't affect, and how those relationships are labelled.

The short version

This site is a directory, not a government service or a licensed formation agent. It is funded by referring readers to free zones, business-setup partners, and related services. Where a link on this site can earn us a commission or referral fee, it is labelled — either inline, next to the link, or with the word “Ad” where required, and always before you click it, not buried afterward.

What “sponsored” means on this site

A link marked sponsored means one of the following is true:

  • We may receive a referral fee or commission if you use it and go on to set up a company, open an account, or take out a policy through that partner.
  • The destination is a named-lead referral or channel-partner program — most UAE free zones and formation consultancies do not run cookie-tracked affiliate links; instead they pay out when we submit your details to them directly, which is what “get a quote” or “refer me” style links on this site actually do.

Every sponsored link carries a rel="sponsored" attribute in the page’s underlying code — the same signal search engines use to distinguish paid placement from editorial content — and is placed alongside a plain, unmonetized link straight to the entity’s own official site, so you always have a non-commercial option.

What it does not affect

A commercial relationship with a free zone, bank, insurer, or formation partner does not change:

  • Its rating or ranking on this site (see Methodology)
  • Whether we recommend it for your situation, including telling you when it’s the wrong choice (see any page’s “who this isn’t for” section)
  • The facts we publish about its fees, requirements, or process

If a rating and a commercial relationship ever appear to contradict this, that’s a bug — please report it.

Where the money actually comes from

Realistically, on this site that means: referral or channel-partner arrangements with UAE free zones and business-setup consultancies (paid when a referred enquiry results in a company being formed), and a small number of conventional affiliate programs for adjacent services (business banking, accounting software, coworking) that do run standard cookie-tracked links. We do not accept payment to publish, alter, or suppress a fact.
