Report an error

If a fee, a requirement, a quota, or anything else on this site is wrong, out of date, or unclear, tell us. The fastest way is the “Report an error” link at the bottom of the page in question — it carries the page context with it — or contact us directly (see About).

We would genuinely rather hear about a mistake than have it sit uncorrected. Tell us:

• The page and the specific figure or claim
• What you believe is correct, and where you found it if possible
• Roughly when you noticed it

What happens next

Every correction is checked against a primary source before the page is changed — we don’t take a reader’s word for a figure any more than we’d take a formation agent’s, but a specific, sourced correction is usually the fastest way a page gets re-verified out of cycle. The log

Every substantive correction to a published fact is recorded in that page’s own change history (visible at the bottom of the page, under “Change history”), with the date, what changed, and why. This page is the index; the detail lives with the page it corrected.
